TRANSFER PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS

Press it right. Wear it proud.

Time, temperature, pressure and peel method can vary by transfer type. Always follow the settings included with your specific Pressed & Twisted transfer. Use these general steps together with the instructions supplied with your transfer.

Prepare the Garment

Start with a clean, dry garment suitable for the transfer. Lay it flat and remove wrinkles, lint or moisture before pressing.

Pre-Press

Briefly pre-press the garment if your transfer instructions call for it. This helps flatten the fabric and remove moisture.

Position the Transfer

Place the transfer carefully where you want the finished design. Make sure it is straight and correctly oriented before applying heat.

Press

Use a heat press whenever possible. Set the time, temperature and pressure according to the instructions supplied with your particular transfer.

Peel Correctly

Some transfers peel hot, warm or cold. Do not guess. Follow the peel method included with your transfer and peel smoothly as directed.

Finish & Care

Allow the design to settle before wearing or washing. Follow the care instructions supplied with your transfer to help protect the finished design.

WASHING & AFTERCARE

Follow the care instructions supplied with your transfer.
Turn the garment inside out before washing.
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.
Do not iron directly on the finished design.
